I often wonder as to how long will a section of media continue with their "Hate Modi" campaign ?
I am unable to understand as to why these people can not see it and wonder when will they realise that it was their own misguided media campaign of hate Modi, denounce Modi, demonise Modi, spread over the last decade and more, that has been responsible for rise of Modi to his present status.
Recently, this misguided section of media, some self appointed secularists, and so called liberals from intelligentsia launched yet another motivated 'intolerance' saga aimed at defeating BJP in Bihar polls.
To say that this campaign actually worked would be a direct insult to an honest and sincere politician named Nitish Kumar. Though, I am aghast at his aligning with Laloo but it is game of politics.
Even if we deign to consider that the media criticism of Modi is genuine and has no hidden motive, it is not seen as rational and logical. Take for example the controversy being created over expiry of a contract certain ad agency had with tourism dept and as a consequence, one film star ceases to appear in their advts. How come, these few media persons feel the necessity to meddle in this business.
If one must blabber against Modi, better find some good excuse. This matter ended with expiry of contract between ad agency and tourism dept. The slot is not permanently reserved for just one man. It would be rather good to have someone who does truly believe in incredible India within his heart. And why just one, why not give this responsibility to few distinguished achievers in various fields.
I wish they soon tire out of it and start seeing that their ill motivated fracas is actually helping Modi.

As such, a brand endorser is not allowed to run down the
brand that he is paid to endorse. He has to uphold the brand all the time. As film actor, I am his ardent
admirer and loved him in almost every film that he featured in but I
can also see that he did make a mistake. He is not so naive to not have
seen the vile campaign some sections of media were running at that
time, with a definite motive.
By the way, have you seen any advt airing on tv featuring this film
star, in the recent weeks. No, he is being blacked out by the ad
agencies and the electronic media. In a way, I would blame the media for
his misery. He was egged on and trapped by press in saying what he did. The same goes for the other mega film star too but he was more sensible and
also graceful enough to have accepted his mistake.
Now, this 'Hate Modi'
section of media is harping upon the reduced security, to these two film stars (although police reviewed security of 40 in all) completely
blacking out the fact that police has just taken away the additional
security that was provided in the wake of the intolerance
controversy.
And, to all those, who do it for some other considerations, I would like to say, cut the crap, please.
